We were happy with our stay here. The staff were nice enough, though limited English. We kept coming down for hot water every morning and one day a staff member brought us a kettle for our room. Our triple room was decent. The layout was a bit odd, and not very spacious, but everything was in good condition. We loved the roof top terrace. There is in fact an elevator in the building. Close to the tram, but it’s a steep walk up the hill to get to it, which my partners mother did find challenging. There was stain on of the decorative pillows, but everything I actually wanted to use was clean.

The Sultan Palace Hotel wasn't anything like the reviews that were given by people. The room furniture is old and the hotel needs a major revamp. It is definitely close to all attractions. SAJID was the only friendly person that wanted to make your stay comfortable. There was an awful odor in the rooms. The toilet was so old and the bathroom door was rotting due to dampness. Never met the owner to experience his friendliness. ALL THE BEST TO SAJID IN HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Really good hotel for it's price and location. Service was on the best level, everyone was polite. Clean rooms, with changing towels every day. U can order a breakfast or take a cup of tea or coffee. There is a beautiful terrace here. I book this hotel using one-two trip website with pretty good discount. In general my recommendation.

I have spoken to the owner several times and explained that the various problems I am experiencing, including no air condion, dirty floor, small insights, the TV does not work, no toilet equipment, but the owner does not seem to care and also does not want to solve my problem or give me my money back

The worst hotel I have ever booked Misleading pictures Very small rooms(need to walk side by side), you can hear your neighbor from your room Rude hospitality Opportunistic management (they wanted me to pay extra300$ to change and move to bigger room) I still owe them 700$ for two reservation. I booked through Expedia website, and I tried to contact them and the hotel more than 3times to cancel my next reservation for my family, and they were hopeless, every time with different excuses(the manager doesn't speak English, time difference, ext) No free parking Worse location (on very sharp and high hill, you need a very strong car to get there) Not recommended at all, don't even think about it. They deserve minus ( -⭐)

The manager Obaki is the most friendliest host ive ever met he will go out of his way to make your stay as best as possible. Amazing value and best location ever. I saved 100s staying here rather than a posh 5 star. The boy at reception speaks very good english and is very respectful.. Highly recommend.

Sultan Palace Hotel - Initial thoughts, Sultan palace hotel is far from a Palace. It’s located on a steep hill, when you enter the hotel you must first go down a set of winding stairs to get to the main receptions desk. If you have any mobility issues or a disability this place is not for you. I wear knee brace and have limited mobility so it was difficult for me. The clerk did come outside and help us with the luggage albeit we arrived at 3 AM. The clerk has limited, very limited English-speaking capabilities. I made the mistake of calling the hotel earlier in the day to arrange for a hotel/airport transfer, they said the transfer would cost 50 euros to which I agreed. However when my flight was delayed, I called the hotel again to let them know we would be arriving late and told them the new time it was scheduled for. Upon arrival the driver was not there. Apparently the guy showed up, waited for three hours and naturally left. When I get to the hotel I was charged for the transfer even though they didn’t quite understand that the flight was delayed, thus it was my fault. Apparently they had called/texted me via WhatsApp however the number they called was not mine and the number was not even close to mine, so I don't know who they called, so I had to pay the price. There is a very nice car service located at the airport that will bring you to the hotel or any hotel, do not order directly from the hotel as it’s easier just to get it at the airport and cheaper. They will also pick you up from the hotel and transfer you back to the airport. Make sure to book the roundtrip initially to make it easy. The room (#101): is a very small room in comparison, we got a triple, which was a double bed and a twin size bed. The air conditioning was functioning although not super powerful but it allowed you to be comfortable while in the room. The room also has a super tiny fridge and a safe if you want to use it. The bathroom I also found it to be very small however the shower was a little bigger than expected albeit it all seemed dated BUT IT WAS CLEAN and no foul odors. As there is a mosque located right next door you will hear prayer services, which for us was not an issue whatsoever. If you want a nice breakfast, make a right upon leaving the hotel and go up the hill (past the rear of the Mosque) right on the corner there is a nice little 3 story restaurant. The guys there were very nice and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. Location however, it's close to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and many other tourist spots. Additionally public transportation is readily available. There are very nice restaurants within walking distance and a little grocery store about a block away for water and snacks. Overall, I would give them a 4.5 star rating due to the accessibility issues. The staff is very nice and they do try to help a lot.

Overall, my stay here was short-lived and quite poor. There was no AC in the room, and it seems as though there is construction happening on the roof. For 3 consecutive hours there was loud hammering and banging, preventing any kind of sleep or relaxation. Although I had booked for three days I promptly left after three hours as the construction continued throughout.
